Proton Satria Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Proton Satria cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of RM 35,524. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 35,184 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 50 % with an average price of RM 33,845 during the previous 4 months and RM 50,640.5 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Proton Satria has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2013, the average price is RM 12,481.13. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 9,212) moving up till (RM 22,304)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 93 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 27,403.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2016, 2017) with a price of RM 30,687.

They are 80 % more affordable than the average price (RM 43,636). Next with a price of RM 15,131 and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. It is 31% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at RM 27,215.
