Honda Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Honda cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is RM 350,742 increasing till RM 373,221 in November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 361,981.5 to RM 372,391. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 367,186.25 to RM 367,967 during February and March.
The average price for Honda has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is RM 67,572.59. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 30,610) moving up till (RM 191,378)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 374 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -12 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (RM 286,101.25) and the the last two years analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of RM 251,932.5.
The graph that displays the price for Honda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 91 % more affordable than the average price (RM 369,817). Next with a price of RM 112,790 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 0% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at RM 264,755.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Honda cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 96 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 369,817) followed by "Gasoline" priced at RM 353,210. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 4 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of RM 14,850.

These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of RM 24,322. Cars with the lowest average price have 3 !doors and are 85 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of RM 33,168.
