The selling price for Hyundai cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of RM 147,170. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 142,196 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -7 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 139,722 to RM 134,395.5 during February and March.

Price per registration year

The average price for Hyundai has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is RM 36,747.24. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 13,333) moving up till (RM 133,427)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 260 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 162,853.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of RM 193,435.5.

Price per mileage

The graph that displays the price for Hyundai cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price (RM 134,205). Next with a price of RM 56,845 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 19% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at RM 68,196.

Price per fuel type

The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Hyundai cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 64 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 134,205) followed by "Diesel" priced at RM 56,533. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 58 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of RM 48,568.

Price per doors number

The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Hyundai automobiles with the cheapest price have 4 doors. They are 80 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at RM 26,549. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 65 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
