Volvo Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of RM 283,938. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 281,935 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 282,936.5 to RM 269,976.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -7 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 276,456.5 to RM 258,083.5 during February and March.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is RM 61,314.05. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 17,748) moving up till (RM 206,095)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 283 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 268,718.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of RM 302,517.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 95 % more affordable than the average price (RM 260,810). Next with a price of RM 59,442 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 8% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at RM 234,453.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Volvo automobiles with the cheapest price have 4 doors. They are 91 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at RM 23,989. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 74 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
