BMW 5 Series Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW 5 Series cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in December was of RM 307,850. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 313,495 during January. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 310,672.5 to RM 297,635.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 304,154 to RM 289,284.5 during April and May.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is RM 68,308.65. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 24,447) moving up till (RM 216,803)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 288 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 303,910.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of RM 343,117.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 5 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price (RM 283,477). Next with a price of RM 96,356 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 2% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of RM 218,090.
