BMW 5 Series Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for BMW 5 Series cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of RM 271,406. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 262,638 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 267,022 to RM 258,409. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 262,715.5 to RM 260,500 during February and March.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is RM 65,111.25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 14,344) moving up till (RM 197,064)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 246 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 16 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 268,346) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2022, 2023) with a price of RM 311,239.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 5 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 91 % more affordable than the average price (RM 256,494). Next with a price of RM 96,462 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 6% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at RM 198,657.
