BMW X5 Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for BMW X5 cars have increased during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was RM 256,445. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till RM 297,729. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 277,087 to RM 282,297. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 279,692 to RM 280,201.5 during February and March.
The average price for BMW X5 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2002 and 2019, the average price is RM 78,722.62. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2002 (RM 17,165) moving up till (RM 143,556)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 269 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 331,012.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of RM 371,151.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW X5 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 74 % more affordable than the average price (RM 280,656). Next with a price of RM 163,433 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 11% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of RM 293,573.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW X5 cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 67 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 280,656) followed by "Diesel" priced at RM 97,396. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 65 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of RM 92,774.
