Ford Ranger Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Ford Ranger cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of RM 194,463. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 202,584 during November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from RM 198,523.5 to RM 215,456.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 206,990 to RM 209,920.5 during February and March.
The average price for Ford Ranger has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2000 and 2020, the average price is RM 42,544.4. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2000 (RM 16,950) moving up till (RM 121,615)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 208 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 146,580.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of RM 162,003.5.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Ranger cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (RM 209,414). Next with a price of RM 72,825 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at RM 121,643.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Ranger cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 72 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 209,414) followed by "Diesel" priced at RM 95,978. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 54 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of RM 58,982.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Ford Ranger automobiles with the cheapest price have 2 doors. They are 88 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at RM 24,283. Cars with the lowest price have 4 doors and are 86 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
