Kia Cerato Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia Cerato cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of RM 54,692. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 55,378 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 52,810.75 to RM 47,081.5 during February and March.
The average price for Kia Cerato has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2013 and 2016, the average price is RM 33,142. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2013 (RM 28,003) moving up till (RM 37,417)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 48 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 9 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 54,038.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of RM 59,047.5.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Cerato cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 31 % more affordable than the average price (RM 47,359). Next with a price of RM 42,945 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 5% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of RM 42,945.
