Kia Optima Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia Optima cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In October the price for a car is RM 58,782 increasing till RM 62,883 in November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -16 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from RM 59,240 to RM 50,006.5.
The average price for Kia Optima has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2014, the average price is RM 25,659.33. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 (RM 7,500) moving up till (RM 45,986)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 107 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 28 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 74,102) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of RM 95,035.5.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Optima cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 36 % more affordable than the average price (RM 51,173). Next with a price of RM 45,083 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 68% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of RM 55,463.
