Kia Picanto Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia Picanto cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price in October was of RM 36,543. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 35,379 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -22 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from RM 34,471 to RM 26,927.
The average price for Kia Picanto has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2004 and 2014, the average price is RM 11,746.75. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2004 (RM 5,500) moving up till (RM 19,195)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 81 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 25 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 28,432) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of RM 35,613.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Picanto cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 52 % more affordable than the average price (RM 25,893). Next with a price of RM 13,875 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 43% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of RM 26,852.
