Kia Rio Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia Rio cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is RM 32,594. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till RM 30,592. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 31,593 to RM 31,548. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 31,570.5 to RM 30,426.5 during February and March.
The average price for Kia Rio has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2014, the average price is RM 14,721.25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 (RM 6,800) moving up till (RM 25,234)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 98 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 35,488.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2017, 2018) with a price of RM 41,859.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Rio cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 29 % more affordable than the average price (RM 29,704). Next with a price of RM 26,972 and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 4% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at RM 28,125.
