Mercedes Benz C Class Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Mercedes Benz C Class cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in July was of RM 212,176. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 211,034 during August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price rose somewhat going from RM 211,605 to RM 226,137.5. The average price has risen 5 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (RM 230,648) during November and December.
The average price for Mercedes Benz C Class has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is RM 56,311.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 12,199) moving up till (RM 185,091)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 245 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 226,820.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of RM 259,469.5.
The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz C Class cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 92 % more affordable than the average price (RM 223,873). Next with a price of RM 66,420 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 12% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at RM 195,640.
