Mercedes Benz Classe C Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercedes Benz Classe C cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for April is RM 376,062. During May there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till RM 347,848. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -16 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -15 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 333,291.75 to RM 284,205.5 during August and September.
The average price for Mercedes Benz Classe C has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2019, the average price is RM 115,862.5. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (RM 54,948) moving up till (RM 253,813)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 100 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 269,613.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of RM 307,245.
The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz Classe C cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 84 % more affordable than the average price (RM 273,232). Next with a price of RM 143,503 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 2% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at RM 233,888.
