Mitsubishi Lancer Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mitsubishi Lancer cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In October the price for a car is RM 78,390 increasing till RM 84,152 in November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -14 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -11 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 75,430.25 to RM 66,871 during February and March.
The average price for Mitsubishi Lancer has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2011, the average price was RM 95,428.55. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (RM 224,137) and 2011 (RM 35,725). During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -61 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 23 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 48,691.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2014, 2015) with a price of RM 59,698.5.
The graph that displays the price for Mitsubishi Lancer cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 33 % more affordable than the average price (RM 63,683). Next with a price of RM 44,394 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 141% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "more than 200,000" and a price of RM 83,217.
