Nissan Skyline Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Nissan Skyline cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was RM 128,783. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till RM 156,870. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 23 % from RM 142,826.5 to RM 175,134. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 158,980.25 to RM 158,430.5 during February and March.
The average price for Nissan Skyline has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During "before 2000" and "before 2000", the average price was RM 282,410. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the following two years, cars belonging to the brand aforementioned had a strong deflation in their selling price of -70 % compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -6 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (RM 81,015) and the the last two years analyzed (2005, 2009) with a price of RM 76,438.5.
The graph that displays the price for Nissan Skyline cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 61 % more affordable than the average price (RM 131,594). Next with a price of RM 133,625 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 130% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of RM 251,852.
