Perodua Kancil Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Perodua Kancil cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of RM 8,138. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 8,161 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 8,149.5 to RM 7,845.5. In the last two, the price has gone through a -7 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 7,997.5 to RM 7,467.5 during February and March.
The average price for Perodua Kancil has gone through a significant depreciation in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2005, the average price was RM 4,625.43. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (RM 5,692) and 2005 (RM 4,273). During the next two years the average price(RM 4,672.5) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 4,991) and the the last two years that were studied (2008, 2009) with a price of RM 5,309.5.
The graph that displays the price for Perodua Kancil cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 44 % more affordable than the average price (RM 7,343). Next with a price of RM 4,383 and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "100,000 - 200,000". It is 12% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at RM 4,731.
