Proton Persona Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Proton Persona cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in March was of RM 52,600. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 52,756 during April. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 52,678 to RM 53,642. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 53,160 to RM 53,216 during July and August.
The average price for Proton Persona has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2019, the average price is RM 19,990.38. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (RM 10,459) moving up till (RM 37,446)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 111 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 44,864.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of RM 47,576.
The graph that displays the price for Proton Persona cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 77 % more affordable than the average price (RM 52,939). Next with a price of RM 21,757 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 1% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at RM 38,016.
