Toyota Camry Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Camry cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In October the price for a car is RM 258,638 increasing till RM 272,167 in November. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -35 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has had spectacular rise of 31 % with an average price of RM 219,381.25 during the previous 4 months and RM 286,699 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Toyota Camry has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is RM 53,404.83. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 8,167) moving up till (RM 169,155)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 327 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -8 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (RM 212,166) and the the last two years analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of RM 196,089.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Camry cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 88 % more affordable than the average price (RM 290,357). Next with a price of RM 62,267 and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 0% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at RM 72,544.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Camry cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 84 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 290,357) followed by "Hybrid" priced at RM 151,872. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 48 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of RM 45,585.
