Volkswagen Beetle Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volkswagen Beetle cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of RM 86,641. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 86,608 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -7 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 83,495.25 to RM 78,778 during February and March.
The average price for Volkswagen Beetle has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed ("before 2000" - 2016), the average selling price stood at RM 39,628.64. During this time, the price for "before 2000" which was RM 31,189 decreased to RM 28,902 during 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018), the average price went up 12 % moving from !PRECIO1! to RM 44,244, During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 49,019.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2019, 2020) with a price of RM 53,795.5.
The graph that displays the price for Volkswagen Beetle cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 52 % more affordable than the average price (RM 76,949). Next with a price of RM 37,729 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 4% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of RM 74,099.
