Toyota Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in December was of RM 106,659. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 109,521 during January. During the following two months (February, March) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 199 % from RM 108,090 to RM 323,274. The average price has had spectacular rise of 196 % with an average price of RM 215,682 during the previous 4 months and RM 639,216.5 during the most recent months in April and May.
The average price for Toyota has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is RM 137,847.62. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 68,617) moving up till (RM 309,924)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 214 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -20 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (RM 361,068.75) and the the last two years (2017, 2018) with a price of RM 289,090.5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 93 % more affordable than the average price (RM 701,401). Next with a price of RM 120,981 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 5% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at RM 318,227.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 95 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 701,401) followed by "Hybrid" priced at RM 55,925. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 83 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of RM 55,925.
