Toyota Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for June is RM 644,560. During July there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till RM 550,102. During the following two months (August, September) the average selling price rose somewhat going from RM 597,331 to RM 630,848. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 614,089.5 to RM 612,461.5 during October and November.
The average price for Toyota has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is RM 97,910.75. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 52,466) moving up till (RM 225,296)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 271 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (RM 330,115.5) and the the last two years analyzed (2017, 2018) with a price of RM 297,096.5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 94 % more affordable than the average price (RM 605,888). Next with a price of RM 92,665 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 2% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at RM 242,524.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 92 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 605,888) followed by "Gas" priced at RM 55,033. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 76 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of RM 65,237.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 91 % more affordable than the average price (RM 605,888). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of RM 69,111. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 86 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
