Volkswagen Passat Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Volkswagen Passat cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is RM 104,091 increasing till RM 113,259 in November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 108,675 to RM 110,904.5. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (RM 116,425) during February and March.
The average price for Volkswagen Passat has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2010 and 2018, the average price is RM 41,971.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2010 (RM 36,754) moving up till (RM 75,849)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 179 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 132,704.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of RM 148,166.5.
The graph that displays the price for Volkswagen Passat cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 68 % more affordable than the average price (RM 121,938). Next with a price of RM 97,720 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 44% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of RM 111,789.
