Volvo XC40 Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo XC40 cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for November is RM 201,981. During December there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till RM 190,763. The following two months (January, February) the selling price went through a devaluation of -11 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 185,303.75 to RM 182,366.5 during March and April.
The average price for Volvo XC40 has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2019 and 2020, the average price was RM 150,136.5. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 23 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 222,754.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of RM 260,362.

They are 24 % more affordable than the average price (RM 184,613). Next with a price of RM 148,356 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 21% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of RM 182,493.
