Proton Satria Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Proton Satria cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for March is RM 57,828. During April there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till RM 49,606. The following two months (May, June) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 51,269 to RM 53,281.5 during July and August.
The average price for Proton Satria has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is RM 17,009. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 13,853) moving up till (RM 32,426)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 98 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 38,068.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of RM 42,436.
The graph that displays the price for Proton Satria cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 79 % more affordable than the average price (RM 54,616). Next with a price of RM 18,062 and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 14% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at RM 35,423.

These are followed by those with 3 doors with an average price of RM 27,638. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 37 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
