Proton Gen-2 Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for Proton Gen-2 cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. The average price in October was of RM 8,669. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 8,569 during November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from RM 8,619 to RM 8,421.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from RM 8,520.25 to RM 8,478.5 during February and March.
The average price for Proton Gen-2 has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2004 and 2006, the average price was RM 6,034.33. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2007, 2008) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 33 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of RM 7,769.75 in 2009 and RM 7,484.5 during 2010.
