Kia Spectra Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Kia Spectra cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of RM 4,517. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at RM 4,506 during November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from RM 4,511.5 to RM 4,965. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (RM 5,161.5) during February and March.
The average price for Kia Spectra has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed (2001 - 2005), the average selling price stood at RM 4,914.75. During this time, the price for 2001 which was RM 5,660 decreased to RM 5,045 during 2005. During the next two years the average price(RM 5,056.5) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 5,615.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2008, 2009) with a price of RM 6,175.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Spectra cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 5 % more affordable than the average price (RM 4,970). Next with a price of RM 4,833 and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 47% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of RM 5,464.
