Kia Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In October the price for a car is RM 198,275 increasing till RM 214,320 in November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -13 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -13 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from RM 192,867 to RM 167,461 during February and March.
The average price for Kia has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is RM 28,004.77. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (RM 10,973) moving up till (RM 108,038)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 445 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (RM 186,611.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of RM 220,493.
The graph that displays the price for Kia cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 95 % more affordable than the average price (RM 175,811). Next with a price of RM 42,565 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 26% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at RM 91,525.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Kia cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 71 % less expensive than the average market price (RM 175,811) followed by "Diesel" priced at RM 98,052. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 44 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of RM 50,792.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that Kia automobiles with the cheapest price have 4 doors. They are 89 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at RM 19,858. Cars with the lowest price have 5 doors and are 84 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
